An audio series for kids

Who is BONGiDOO?

Adventures with BONGiDOO is a fantastical audio series for kids ages 3 and up. Available on Spotify, Apple Podcasts, YouTube and more. It was inspired by stories I started telling my daughter, Eve, when she was about four.

The concept unfolded in real time as I improvised the first one. She loved the stories so much that, over the years—and as her two sisters, Ayla and Imogen, arrived—they started to take on even more shape and depth. One day, I decided to record one just for fun and added some music. When I played it for them, they flipped out, and I had to keep making more!

The three magical sisters have spent hours upon hours listening to them in the car or on headphones—again and again. Over time, they’ve even become active contributors, not just with their little voices here and there but also with ideas, storylines, and even the music.

I have a 20-year career in music, most notably as a member of the band KONGOS, but having kids has opened up a new avenue of expression that I never saw coming. I hope your kids enjoy these stories as much as mine do!

Ways to support

Writing, recording, editing the podcast, composing all the music from scratch, managing web and socials all takes a lot of time. Please consider supporting!

  1. Rate and review: Wherever you listen — like, subscribe, rate and write a review. This makes a HUGE difference to our reach and how the algorithm distributes the show.

  2. Substack: Sign up for our newsletter - the best way to stay up to date on all things BONGiDOO. It’s free, but we will be enabling an optional paid subscription for extras, behind the scenes content and some other fun features.

  3. DONATE: If you love the stories and want to help keep it going, send us a donation once… or as often as you feel like it! We rely on our listeners to make this show possible:) Ko-Fi is a super quick, easy and secure way to do this… you can even use Apple Pay.

  4. BUY MERCH: We try to keep prices low relative to the cost of goods. It’s a great way to support and also spread the word.

  5. WORD of MOUTH: Probably the absolute best way to grow the show. Tell friends, family, tell other parents, tell your kids’ teachers, dance instructors, nannies and coaches! We don’t spend on marketing, so talking about BONGiDOO is a sure way to help.
